The ASCENT Movement

This group meets every four weeks on a Tuesday at 9.30am for approximately one hour in the Parish Room.

Main aims

  • To help retired people make good use of their retirement years.
  • To encourage people to participate in the mission of the Church.

We do this in three ways;

  • Spirituality
  • Friendship
  • Apostolate

There is a short spiritual reflection often about the coming Sunday’s readings.

We also share our faith, friendship, caring, support and exchange ideas.

There is time for coffee and a chat and a few social outings.

We currently have eighteen and would welcome any new members.
