Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Every Sunday, except during the month of August, the children leave the 9.30am Mass with their catechist just before the readings. They discuss the Gospel for the day and have some short activity related to the reading, which may be drawing, writing a prayer or making something. They rejoin Mass as aprt of the Offertory Procession.
The children, with their families and catechists, usually attend a pantomime at Christmas.
Anyone who would like to help is very welcome. CRB checks are necessary as this group works in accordance with the Diocese of Middlesbrough Child Protection policies.
