The Sacraments of First Confession and First Holy Communion

Preparation for these Sacraments begins with a meeting for Parents on Wednesday 18th January at 7pm in St Clare’s School, followed by the Enrolment Mass on Sunday 22nd January at 9.30am.

27 children are making their First Holy Communion this year and we are looking for prayer partners for them. If you volunteer you are asked to pray each day for your partner and they will pray for you. If you want to be involved please contact Kath Power on 821846 for more information.

Welcome to all our Parishioners and Visitors who are to join us for our Christmas Masses, may I wish you every joy and blessing of this Christmas Season.

The times for our Christmas Masses are as follows;

Christmas Eve – Vigil Mass at 6pm
Christmas Day – Morning Mass at 9.30am

Also there are Confessions for Christmas on;

Friday 23rd December – 6.30-7pm
Christmas Eve – 9.30-10am

[ Wednesday January 20, 2010; 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Sunday January 24, 2010; 9:30 am to 10:30 am. ] The First Holy Communion programme begins in January 2010. There will be a meeting for the parents in St Clare’s School on Wednesday 20th January at 7pm. The 9.30am Mass on Sunday 24th January will be a Mass of Welcome and Enrolment for the children. Please keep them in your prayers during this special year.
