St Clare of Assisi Parish

Congratulations to the parents of Louisa Rose Phillips, Thomas Foster, and Georgie Norman Godfrey who were recently baptised at St Clare’s Church.

Bishop Terry will be celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation for the Middlesbrough Deanery on June 15th.

Any parishioner in Year 9 or above is invited to prepare for the Sacrament.
There will be a meeting at the Cathedral Hall on Wednesday 27th January at 7pm for all those who wish to be confirmed.

Parishioners who would like to help with the preparation are also invited to attend.

The First Holy Communion programme begins in January 2010.

There will be a meeting for the parents in St Clare’s School on Wednesday 20th January at 7pm.

The 9.30am Mass on Sunday 24th January will be a Mass of Welcome and Enrolment for the children.

Please keep them in your prayers during this special year.

On Sunday 11th May at our 9.30am Mass we will meet the candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please start to include these young people in your prayers.

Confirmation will take place on June 11 at 6pm in St Francis’ Church (not the Cathedral).

The First Holy Communion Mass takes place on Saturday 10th May at 10.30am. Congratulations to all involved.

This Mass means that there will be no Mass at 9.30am.

Please take care when parking and avoid parking on Low Lane if at all possible. This is the busiest day of the year for traffic on Low Lane.
