Day of Prayer for Peace

Sunday 15th January is the Day of Prayer for Peace in our World. Pope Benedict, in his message to mark this time of prayer, encouraged the Church to educate young people in the ways of justice and peace. We can only do this if we ourselves are committed to working in our world to promote these qualities. There will be a second collection for Pax Christi.

Remembrance Day

During our 9.30am Mass we will remember all those who have given their lives in the service of our country, as we recall their sacrifice. It is a powerful reminder of the need to pray and to work for justice and peace in our world.

Its Panto time again!

We have managed to secure 100 tickets for Snow White at Middlesbrough Theatre, with tickets reduced from £14.50 to £11.50. As we will be unable to get any more seats, they will be on a first come basis. There is a list at the back of church, and all monies to be paid by the end of October.
