Thank You!

to the Doocey family for very kindly clearing the snow from the car park last weekend.

It was a huge help to the parish.

Christmas Eve Car Parking

Please do not park on Low Lane.

The road is very dangerous and parking on Low Lane makes the problem much worse.

Many Thanks!

Many thanks to all who supported our Christmas shoe box appeal for the sea-farers and our soldiers in Afghanistan, especially Margaret Leader’s knitting group for all the hats.

The ‘Twelve Apostle’ lights

The ring of lights above the altar has been problematic since its installation. In particular it is very difficult and extremely expensive to change the bulbs, which have proved to have shorter life spans than we originally were led to believe they would.

Thank you

Thank you for the warm welcome I have received this week. I look forward to meeting you in the days and weeks ahead.

There will be no morning Mass this Saturday due to the visit of the relics of St Thérèse. If you are planning to go to the Cathedral please be in good time!

Father John Paul

As you will know by now, Fr John Paul will be leaving St Clare’s towards the end of September. Brown envelopes are available at the back of church for parishioners who would like to donate towards a leaving gift for him. Thank you.
