Craft group supports local Asylum Seekers

St. Clare’s Friday Craft Group has very kindly given a £100 donation to Asylum Seekers. The money has been shared between the Mary Thompson Fund, which gives £5 and a bag of food each week to people who do not get any Government help, and Justice First, which gives help and support to Asylum Seekers in our area. Help is urgently sought for a young, pregnant Congolese woman and her 18 month old son. This lady is not receiving any financial support and needs clothes for her son and baby clothes as well as the usual things a baby needs. She has nothing and is staying with a friend. Catholic Handicapped Fellowship Mass
