More volunteers would be very welcome to join the Music Group. Its aim is to lead the singing of the parts of the Mass which the Church has always encouraged the congregation to sing, e.g. the Gloria, Sanctus, Responsorial Psalm, Gospel Acclamation and other responses. Practices take place on Sunday from 9 until 9.20am.

Run Phil, Run!

Phil Snowden is taking part in the Middlesbrough 10K Run on Sunday 4th September and is looking for sponsors; funds raised will go to Zoe’s Place and St Clare’s Organ Fund. There is a sponsorship form in the church porch.

The Organ Fund

Barclays Charities Aid Foundation have sent a donation to match the funds raised by the Tombola at the Summer Fair; this adds a additional £433 to the fund. A further donation of £200 has also been received so the fund now stands at £4644.22. Many thanks! Hopefully the new organ will be inplace by early October.
