Advent marks the start of the new liturgical year so from this weekend (29th and 30th November 2008) we hear the readings from Year B.
In Year B the Gospel readings are usually taken from the Good News according to St Mark.

Fr John Paul will offer all current readers and any prospective new readers a chance to practice their reading skills.
Please add names to the list at the back of the church.
The sessions, for up to five people at a time, will be on Saturdays 10-11am or by appointment.
This is not compulsory but is recommended.
The first session will be on November 29th 2008, 10-11am.
