If you would like to travel to the Papal Mass on September 19th at Cofton Park please enter your name on the list in the Church Porch by next Sunday (1st August 2010).

The cost of £25.00 includes return coach travel to Birmingham.

Rory Connelly of Alcuin Travel has arranged for a coach to leave St Clare’s Church car park at approximately 1.30pm to go to Osmotherley for the Pilgrimage on Sunday 15th August.

The cost will be £10 per adult, £5 per child; please pay on the coach.

If you would like to go by coach please add your name and your phone number to the list at the back of the church.

The list will close on Tuesday 10th August to assess final numbers.

The Annual Diocesan Assumption Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Grace will take place on Sunday 15th August with the Rosary at 2.30pm and Mass at 3pm.

This year the main celebrant will be the Rt Rev Mgr Canon Gerard Dasey, the Vicar General.

The preacher will be Very Rev Colin Battell, OSB Prior of Ampleforth

Car parking is available

Lifts up to the Chapel are available

Refreshments are available

Please bring suitable seating

Bishop Terry will be celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation for the Middlesbrough Deanery on June 15th.

Any parishioner in Year 9 or above is invited to prepare for the Sacrament.
There will be a meeting at the Cathedral Hall on Wednesday 27th January at 7pm for all those who wish to be confirmed.

Parishioners who would like to help with the preparation are also invited to attend.

The First Holy Communion programme begins in January 2010.

There will be a meeting for the parents in St Clare’s School on Wednesday 20th January at 7pm.

The 9.30am Mass on Sunday 24th January will be a Mass of Welcome and Enrolment for the children.

The Ascent group, which aims to encourage spirituality, friendship and mission amongst men and women who have reached the time of retirement from more active life, meets regularly in the Parish Room.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday 5th January at 9.30am (ie. after morning Mass).
