Today we celebrate the Feast of Pentecost, the birthday of the Church.

Let us pray that we open our hearts and minds afresh to the power of the Holy Spirit as we seek to follow Christ and build up his kingdom on Earth.

After 40 days of Lent at last we come to the joy of celebrating Easter; congratulations to Amanda Burns, Lorna Rossi, Claire Luke and Sharron Lindberg Smith who were received into the Church at the Easter Vigil.

Please continue to keep them in your prayers as well as all who were baptised and received into the Church this weekend.

Many thanks to all who gave so generously of their time to prepare the Church for our Easter Celebrations and to all who took part in our Holy Week liturgies as we came together to celebrate our faith in the Risen Lord.
