To all who supported our Strawberry Fair and the wonderful band of helpers who worked so hard. In spite of the bad weather we raised £1,911.20. £512 will come from Barclaycard, thanks to Mike and Val Atkins. This will bring our grand total to £2,423.20

[ Wednesday June 11, 2008; 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. ] On Sunday 11th May at our 9.30am Mass we will meet the candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please start to include these young people in your prayers.
Confirmation will take place on June 11 at 6pm in St Francis’ Church (not the Cathedral).

To all the parishioners who bought a space for me to play at the Riverside on Monday. I hope I don’t pull any muscles and score a wonder goal. Everyone is welcome to come down to the Riverside and support this charity football game.

[ Saturday May 10, 2008; 10:30 am to 11:30 am. ] The First Holy Communion Mass takes place on Saturday 10th May at 10.30am. Congratulations to all involved.
This Mass means that there will be no Mass at 9.30am.
Please take care when parking and avoid parking on Low Lane if at all possible. This is the busiest day of the year for traffic on Low Lane.

In October this year Fr Paul Farrer will be 40. To mark the occasion Father Paul is trying to raise £40,000 for charities close to his heart.
