St Clare’s Parish Christmas Fair will be on Saturday 12th November at St Margaret’s Church Hall, The Oval, 10am until 12 noon. Welcome our guest from Minsk

On the weekend of 3rd and 4th September we will welcome a visiting sister from the Convent of St Elisabeth the New Martyr in Belarus. She will give a presentation on the history and service of their community aimed at helping the patients of the local psychiatric hospital, children without parental support and sufferers from drug and alcohol dependence. There are still many people in Britain suffering the long standing consequences of having had polio when younger. The Polio Society helps these people. If you would like to contribute to that help there is a collecting box for donations on the table at the back of church. Thank you.

Coffee Morning in aid of East African crisis

There will also be a coffee morning in support of CAFOD’s appeal in The Blue Bell Hotel on Saturday 23rd July, from 12 noon until 2pm Donations of bottles, etc for a tombola would be gratefully accepted and can be dropped off at Maureen Dowd’s home (94 Low Lane).
