Lenten Soups

£484.60 was raised from the Friday Lenten Soup Lunches that we shared with St Margaret’s and the Salvation Army for CAFOD. Thanks to all who supported this effort. The government’s matched funding means that this amount will be doubled.

The Easter Vigil

The Bishop has asked that all celebrations of the Easter Vigil begin after sunset in accordance with liturgical norms. This means that the Vigil will be celebrated in St Clare’s at 8pm on Holy Saturday.

The Harrogate Spring Flower Show

The Harrogate Spring Flower Show 2012 takes place from 26th until 29th April. We have a parish outing to the show on Saturday 28th April. £22 per person (reduced tickets £13.50 instead of £16, plus coach £8.50). The coach will leave the Blue Bell Hotel car park at 8.45am prompt and will depart from Harrogate at 4pm. List a the back of church, please book early to avoid disappointment....

Confirmation

I have had a brief meeting with pupils in Years 9 and 10 at Trinity College; preparation for this Sacrament will begin with a meeting on Tuesday 28th February at 7pm.
